Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Something naked this way comes

Stephen Wakeling

Why in the morning,
Do you tuck your penis in your purse and slowly mount the corner of the bed?

“Something naked this way comes” – you whisper in the voice that feels like a pipe cleaner in my anus – “Something naked this way comes”

I draw my eyes closed
Tightly as I wake,
Wishing I had a comforter
And not a duvet.
