Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Sincerity

Sarah Lockwood

If only you could see yourself through my eyes–
Fine hair parted on the side and drawn loosely across your face
a few stray strands that whisper in the wind.
Soft green eyes with piercing centers
like black holes drawing me in,
compressing all of my existence
into this one moment, captivated by your beauty.
I don’t think you could draw your eyes away either,
When you run away
laughter echoing in the wind,
light playing with the tones in your hair-
there is a moment when you are turned to the side, with the sun silhouetting your figure
so perfectly,
that I am overcome, mind and body,
with the overwhelming desire to tap that ass.
