Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Silent Hour

stacy g

Water of the river with the love to the land

Lingering but flows away

Leaves of the tree, finally to the ground

Sacrifice but gracious

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Oh the sparkling stars

Hiding on the sky of the city

Only the smell of the cold

Spreading all over the place

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The beautiful dark, makes no answers

It would reborn and die again

The moth, crazy for the fire

Burning with passion, blind but no hesitate

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

When the blue music turns on

And it takes the heart away

The cup is empty, the fingers are numb

I hear the person whispering on the street
