Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Robert Hawkins

Opening the door.
Doc's office packed.
Of various people mimicking,
Varying degrees of their
painful disabilities.

I'm not waiting through all these stiffs.
Turning from the sign in,
Two steps stumble.
Turning shoulder thus.
A satisfying crash,
Through the coffee table.
The disabled scattered like acrobats.

Grimacing to stifle my laughter.
What passed for nursing,
Snapped from apathetic state.
To rushing to tender aid,
For the fallen.

Gently helping me erect,
From the weckage.
I said to the prettiest one,
Is that you Monday?
Obviously confused.
She minded not that I support myself,
With my hand on her ass.
Nice thong.

All the commotion,
Brought Doc running.
The concern drained from his face.
Being replaced with scorn.

Emily!
Emily, get back up front.
Doctor, he seems to need my support.
Emily the nurse who's ass I had,
Seemed reluctant to leave.
My finger under her thong.
Was trying Doc's patience,
To extricate the two of us.

Brusquely Doc ushered me,
Into one of his holding pens for patients.
Alone with Doc I sprang to my feet.
Aww, Doc your August presence,
I'm healed.
Doc says to me, then leave.
Doc you need work on your rapport.
Besides I want a few scripts.

As a doctor I do wish,
There something to give,
For what's wrong with you.

But Doc, I have all that's wrong with you.
People shouldn't leave passwords on blotters.

Wait, your the bastard,
Who broke into my office.
I think I'm calling the police.

Doc, you wound me,
To think I would engage,
In nefarious activities.
You got to wonder though.
Raising my voice a decibel or so.
The DEA,AMA,Medicare an IRS.
Double billing, padding accounts,
Handing out narco scripts,
As if confetti.

Mr. Hawkins please lower your voice.
Sure Doc, I'll lower my voice,
And you'll learn to write scripts faster, won't you.

note:
Talking to you is only thinking to myself made easier.
