Rose in the Darkness...

The black suffocates me, pressuring me to love its loveless embrace....
i fall deeper and deeper it to a feeling i know all to well...
then i realize that i have too much to live for...
and thats when i see my loving family and my friends...
but the image that seems to bring me light in the worst of times is one of a rose...
perfect in it's entirety, never flawed, untouched by others...
then i see what my life could be and the light fills the room and as if though i live again...
and no run or song could make me feel the way i do...
as if you need to hear this i want to thank you for being with me in the depths of my life...
even if you don't think you are, you are the rose in the darkness...
and no one else can touch you!
