Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Ribs

Elroy Burkin

us rakes are living dead
I guess it's better if we're never to be fed
but we don't mind because we live inside our heads
we don't need no stinking bread

why you gettin so irate?
the kind of person that my friends all claim to hate
I'll tell you true, it's when you're uptight that you grate
I'll just drag you to the gate

ain't this just my awful luck
it serves me right for tryin soft to make a buck
the meaning of this line has drove off in a truck
but I don't really give a damn

you're the best of us
you're the best of us
you're the best of us
