Republican or Democrat
Robert Hawkins
Third parties,
Could be described to falling
For the same approach,
Of regurgitated refuse,
As the other two parties.
Candidates.
Being typical yet,
Slightly modifided versions,
Depending on the party.
Can be,
Of kindly indulgence,
Tinged with latent firmness.
But could at anytime,
Crystallize.
Into reluctant admonition.
Although with appropriate,
Overtones.
Of gracious condescension.
With maybe a hint,
Of potential impatience.
And churlish,
When ask certain questions,
Would have appropriate,
Reprisals.
To the voting masses,
To whom fear of losing,
What they have.
The candidate brings,
To those empty craniums.
His, hers planned,
Agonizing reappraisal.
The then vacant,
And not even aware voters.
Of their eventual,
Capitulation.
Vote the way they had already
decided before candidates,
Where ever on the scene.
