Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Really? No. Really!

Dirk Buttley

I remember when I was younger
I'd sit in the tub, pull the plug
and watch the water drain out,

then puberty came and things
had changed, girls would smile and stare awhile and turn and walk away,

Lucky Strike cigarettes were the thing
but pa' didn't care he worked second shift and didn't get home 'till four,

the only thing he ever said was: "dumb whores come free"
