Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Protest

Robert Hawkins

Here we are,
Driving in mass.
To protest,
The death,
Of some poor ass.

Who unfortunately,
Breathed in,
Instead of out,
The nanosecond,
That neutrino,
Came about.
Killed by the,
The nuclear plant,

Exactly when,
What year or where,
We don't know,
But,what the hay.
To the protest,
We are going,
And have our say.

Must be a hundred,
Or more,
Milling around,
Witless battle cries,
Plastered on,
On sticks, cardboard,
Raising hell,
With the nuclear company.
Beats getting bored.

Fission or fusion?
I don't know,
It ain't right,
Every body says so.

Damn,
We lost four,
Out of our group,
Seems,
They got themselves,
Smushed,
On the freeway,
Enroute.

Thats it for me,
I've to get me,
A broad I can lay,
And get out of here.
Hell,
Thats the reason,
I came,
Well,
That and the beer.
