Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Huma Munir

Poems are more like ideas that rhyme,
Some are great and some are fine,
I am no Shakespeare nor am I Roman,
I am just a soul with a bad omen,
Stare at me not with innocent eyes,
I know well of the evil in disguise,
The way you speak in a humble speech,
You can't practice what you preach,
I say what troubles my poor mind,
They say I am nothing but a blind,
Oh sure, thy faces are pretty and gay,
Thy games of hunter versus the prey,
Oh how the world is blinded by your light,
Only to dwell in the darkest of plight,
They seek not what a man should seek,
Only but a future so distant and bleak,
No room for goodness or kindness,
Their motto speaks of utter blindness.
