Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Pissing off the uiverse

Steve Turner

I thought all bank accounts were wizened
Urinated upon by filthy poor wrecks
Standing on street corners holding up signs
Stating “God bless you” in metropolitan areas
Next to freeway signs stating “merge”, and “this lane ends”
Without a clue why bank accounts could gain mold
And pestilence in the dark chasms of antiquety
I faltered for a moment knowing a prostitute
Wanted access my my bank account
And she was wizened, and urinated upon by filthy wrecks
Lamborghinis have excellent acceleration into time/space
If only in mental states, and I used mine judiciously
Nowhere would “God bless you” stand in good stead
For fear and suffering in my life
I would pry fortune out of Zeus’ hands with a Cat-9
And seal off his advance against me with C-4
Just to have a running start
But Lamborghinis have been known to outrun Apollo
Circumnavigating the globe in 24 hours
Only I did it in 16 hours because I utilized
Special navigation instruments imbedded in the dashboard
There are moments in the universe
In space/time where one must grasp the moment
When terror is outweighed by exhiliration
And one’s attitude is “piss on it”
