Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Pirate Temp

Mad Cat Lady

Bumble bee colours
of yellow and black
I have donned
Fact
But busy buzzing industry
Implied by colours such as these
Today are not in my vocabulary

Flying false colours
A vast, A vast
Tow that anchor
Fix that mast

Move that thing
And that other thing
MOVE IT!
I am a temp pirate
Only here for the money
Outwardly professional and cheerful and chummy

Then snatch and grab
I take the booty and go
Away on the waves
Washing fro

Careless of hygiene
And drinking bottles of rum
With an eagle eye out
For the next sucker to come

Arrrrrg me hearties
Tis a good life, it this
Sailing the waves of fortune
And getting pissed
