Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Perfect Day

Desislava Staykova

Today seems like the perfect day

The sun is rising up high,

And the birds are flying in the blue sky.

People are walking around and saying “hey”.

All the flowers are waking up from their sleep,

The birds come out and sing in tune.

Everybody watches, even the moon.

This is the perfect image I want to keep.

I look up in the sky towards the light,

And something takes away my breath.

The shape and structure of the kite is just right.

I start to forget about the sadness and death.

Everything seems to shine,

And the world is what it used to be.
