Penny farthings were so dangerous A Haiku Triad

Those ol-timey bikes
Wonder how folks mounted them...
Maybe they used stilts?

What about helmets?
Derby hats would not suffice
Your head would be smushed.

Don't think they had brakes..
One crash with a Model-T
and it's, "So long, chump".
