Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Paleo Neo

Robert Hawkins

As paleo-man evolves,
gives way to neo-man.
I find am thinking,
of what you will be like.

Are the stars yet ours?
Did we even reach that far?
Do we still let people starve?
Live with insatiable war?

Or are our people happy,
with one another?
No regrets, at peace with
each other?
No countries no crime?

Difficult to communicate,
When we don't understand,
Our fellow man.
Is death still there?

Do you still have remaining
animals, trees,
Nature to hold dear?

Neo-man from your past our regards to you.
But remember the struggle began here.

Our gift to you the future.
We had to die to win.
Is that you will never,
Have to come this way again.

Heisenberg's uncertainty
