Out of the Equation
Chelsea Sarikas
Fear sweeps over me like a broom does to dust
I cannot let go but I know that I must
Oh my dear oh my darling oh my sweet honey pie
Why oh why have you left me, now I cry
I cry at home I cry at school
I cry all the time even though it’s not cool
But it’s not cool that you have left me hangin’
I want to hear you at my door, at my door bangin’
Bangin’ and shoutin’ oh I am for you
My true love, my lost soul, how I love you
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do
I love you as much as baseball players love to chew
I love you like how eight your olds love pixie sticks
My dear our love is comparably hydrophilic
Our love is as strong as an ionic bond
Like the graph of 4sine4pi, our love goes on
To the end of the rainbow and back again
You are my pot of gold, I’ve found you, I win
But none of these things you say to me
Benedict Arnold, you have betrayed me
You have left me for that girl on the bench
She’s no good for you, that darn pirate wench
But I will still wait for you forever and always
I will follow you everywhere and stalk you in the hallways
Because I know that one day, at last you will know
That our love seed is planted
Oh darling, let us grow
