Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Our Age

Marlee Walters

Our age is one of espresso shots
And laptops—everyone the same.
The magazines feed us our great lit—
Condensed. Not like our milk;
We drink soy. Your grandmother
Was never this cool. You eat
Whole foods, screw the big guy—
Screw the football team.
You talk about nothing as if
You know everything—you’ve got game.
Pop culture references are all
The rage—we’re hipsters now.
Clone us all, and put us in a
Clown car—we’d fit.
