Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

One Day

Padraic Fitzcarraldo

One day I will bring my girl here
to Eden park
on a crisp fall afternoon
to the lookout where there are
what seems thirty different shades of trees
We will look out and wonder
how one could see this beauty
and not believe in Jesus
We will be happy
and we will not worry
