Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Jhade Sagrave

A fragrant rose and an impressive speech
An eloquent inspired verse and song
These kids have seen so very few of each
And so deprived they gently limp along

Yet irregardless, slowly they advance
Attaining wisdom others would discard
They pray the world would just give them a chance
But rising above poverty is hard
A class of thirty now holds only twelve
As one by one the children fade away
They sadly take the chains their parents held
Another generation fallen prey

Economy demands a working class
But not at my expense, man; I just passed
