Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Once Without You

jeffrey jones

Oh, once without you, gal of the lake
I tried to swim to another place outside the gate
but it got too late and maybe this is fine
because once we are together and then another day calls
Days calling and passing
Did you pass me by?
My sweet dream-like angel never phones me anymore
I miss you. hon
Are you still in love with Jake??
Come now, this is not that bad
I am very glad
You are the best I've had
What is that phone number again?
I will phone you when I get up the guts
