Very Bad Archive

Ocean

Becca Kusy

her chestnut brown hair blew in the wind
as the boat hit wave after wave
the impact, the force
causing her to jolt from her seat
the tempo of the waves created its own beat
smack after smack
the clear blue water smashed against the shore
smack after smack
the waves grew with size
rougher and rougher
the waves become choppier as the boat continued
the intensity escalated
causing her heart to sink to the bottom of the ocean
the waves silenced
as the water became calm and ceased
