Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

My dog eats anything

Tyler Graham

I was reading a book
Then along came my dog
It was eating a taco
That it got from the mailbox
I started reading the newspaper
Then went out to the car

I love my car
I put down the book
Stopped reading the newspaper
Pet the dog
Got the mail out of my mailbox
And ate a taco

El Famous Burrito has the best tacos
I have a new car
With an old rusty mailbox
I started reading my book
And lost the dog
Where the hell is the newspaper?

I found pieces of the newspaper
Half of a taco
I found the dog
Lying near the car
With my book
By the mailbox

There was something else in the mailbox
A new newspaper
I grabbed my book
And went for another taco
I took my car
And brought the dog

I almost lost the dog
It ran after the mailman who left my mailbox
I chased after him with my car
On the table was a different newspaper
It was a good taco
I finally finished book

There was an add in the newspaper for a lost dog.
I ate another taco thinking about a new book I could read.
I parked the car in the garage and went to the mailbox.
