Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

"My Bad", bugaboo

sheila gasquet

If I say to you, "my bad",
slap me or add the word,
poetry, to the end of the sentence.

If some misinformed person,
gets enthusiatic and tells you,
somethings, sick or ill.

then for Christsake,
take it to the vet or doctor,
unless they mean , sic.

poor grammar and bad slang, are
the Kudzu of the English language.
I will literally scream,

if you say, "awesome" ,
one more time.
bad taste isn't a crime.

Maybe, "inappropriate"
quotation marks, should be.
It's a small bugaboo to some,

but we can't constantly worry,
about ,when we will get mugged.
Focusing on the small stuff helps.

Quibbling over little bugaboos,
like bad grammar and punctuation
help distract us from the reaming

We are getting from Wall Street speculators and our melting icecaps.
or the fact that some of us are homeless.
