Musings on Being Apart

Marlene Shipley

I'd feather my bed with hair from your head;
I'd make a new sash with locks

I'd mend your old slacks with hair from your back;
But oh, when I think of how hairless you'd be,
I'm suddenly sad you're no longer with me.
