Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Violet Valencia

If I could lavish
These musical notes
(you make my emotions, into)
I would spread them across your body…
Every inch of your skin.

I would caress
the half notes
And the syllables
Until nothing that lay between us
Was everyone else…
Nothing that separated our laughter
Was distance

Nothing that separated our emotions
Were words—

Nothing that separated our bodies
Except
The time
It would take
To find you
again.
