Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Monkey

Melissa Gassman

They’re cute and small and fly threw the trees
The like to eat many things including bees,
I want to hold them in my hands
They don’t like their habitat disturbed by cans,
Fuzzy little creatures they are
You would never find them in a bar,
My heart burst open when I see one cry
And all I can do is sigh,
I love them so much they are the best
They like to steal little bird’s nests,
I must say goodbye and finish talking about monkeys now
So I will wave my hand, and take a bow.
