Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Mon Mari

Jessica Wood

You had given everything
you had
to a woman you loved
without hesitation
without reservation
with hugs and kisses
when she had contagious rashes
with jokes and cuddles
when she was furious

That woman happened to be me
but she did not know
that’s how much you had loved
until you left

So I have to live
with your sorrow and tears
and a smile
knowing we once loved
