Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Mommy Dearest

Kirsten Schroeder

Mother I love your pretty face
The way your big nose falls into place.
With eyes the shade of a pretty blue
We’re best friends, stuck like glue.
Mother I love the way you cook.
The way that apron makes you look.
With awesome food that tastes great
Mommy dearest, can I have another plate?
Mother I love the way you smell.
The way it makes the room turn swell.
With a scent that smells of a rose,
I guess I Love you, I suppose.
