Merciful Pottsy

Mister Vacuum

When ere I spot a nimble fabric's sheen,
I wonder where on earth I've been.
In some o'er grabtious, sunny isle,
Or simply somewehere makes me smile.

How can these spudlike, tub'rous growths
Emerge like larvae from my well-encrusted, phlegmy sleeve,
bringing about in all the urge to leave.

To merciful pottsy may I bend my druffish brow,
And merely state, "Not why --but HOW>"
