Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Mah Hur

Laura Hudec

Why don’t you cooperate?
You are the thing I love to hate.
I try to braid you, straighten and curl,
But every day you make me hurl.

Why don’t you agree sometime,
And let me do you up?
You get in my eyes and stick to my lips,
I want to cut you off.

You’re way too thick,
You’re always playing tricks.
Why can’t we be friends,
Like most other people’s heads?

You have horrid split ends,
I try and try again
To make you see
You do not complete me.
