Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Lost

Angela Wood

I am falling in the dark.
My life is ruined,
The tears fall down.
My body aches
My heart breaks.

When you rejected me
I thought I would die.
No one understands the pain I feel.
I cry every night
I cannot put up a fight.

I remember your eyes
As blue as the sea.
Your hair, yellow like the sun.
I smile but it’s all in vain.
My body is full of pain.

In my dreams you love me most,
But when I wake you are gone.
I want to hold you in my arms.
Instead you are far away,
And all I can do is pray.

I want the sun to shine again
I want you to come back into my life
If came back I would smile.
My eyes are always crying tears.
I am gripped by many fears.

I am falling in the dark
I think I will let go
My life is empty
My tears fall down
I always frown
