Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Kinda Like Maroon Beans

Ace Kale

That kinda show
Was no more of a thing than we saw yesterday on the street
At the corner of two nameless roads
It wasn't me I was looking for.

It was the old can that I had thrown away the day before
The maroon beans
From far away.
The can wandered in my direction
To say you were there.

We go to your place and eat the last of the old maroon beans
Sludgy and fermented at the bottom of the can
That had wandered
And somehow found us.
