"Keep it together!" I was told sternly one day
I'd just lost my best friend and a tear fell astray
"Keep it together!" how i hate that phrase!
Show me someone who actually does and I'll be amazed!
The amount of things we all go through
and still we are expected to shine like new.
You can't get through life without a scratch or a smudge
So who cares if you're struggling with a little grudge?
Who says every person deserves a smile
when you feel like you've been run over mile after mile?
sometimes a frown is the best i can do
so "Keep it together!!" I bloomin' well tell YOU!
