Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Jeroboam poem

Jeremy Davis

I sit in class; I don’t know what to write,
I would much rather just get in a fight.
Poems are the worst writing ever invented
So I will just write something kind of demented.
I used a rhyme dictionary to rhyme half these words
So I look out the window, so that I may use birds.
Somehow I’m still typing, though it is tedious and boring
This poem must be starting to get kind of annoying.
I am still writing despite being disengaged
so that I may count this as a half a page.
So I believe I will now conclude this terrible poem
Though the only thing that rhymes is a jeroboam.
