Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Jake And Jane

Robert Hawkins

Jake and Jane,
Went up a hill.
Well, really it was a bluff.
In the mid-western part where the Clear Fork meets the East fork of the Trinity River.
By the old Fort that is in Tarrant County, Texas.
Awww,heck you know.
Jake took Jane up the bluff.
And boy, he threw a party.
And invited all the Commanche.
Oh, didn't I mention it's 1831.
Those days what a guy suppose to do?
Jake covered his bases and let them have Jane.
Those Commanches they do love to party.
rlh

note; who threw the party,
i wanted to go. honey de, you get to go? an you didn't take me.
