Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

It's Sunday Morning

Claudia Skipper

And I'm alive and well.
No I will not go to church.
For it is too early.
I will fall asleep again and wake up around 12:30.

I'll pray, but I won't go to church.
I'm not going to mosque, either.

I will stay here and listen to the wind.
I will watch the snow fall.
I will wonder what the hell has happened to me.
I will figure out all the answers.
I will wonder what's so special about these Sundays.

I'm not going to think.
I'm going to sleep.
I'm not going to listen to you.
Because I'm not going to church today.
