Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Ms. G

I’m lookin out my back window
In the afternoon
to see
what is there
A clothes line
Rusted pipe in crucified posture
Line, string? Wire?
Run long ,straight.
Does anyone really use these
anymore.
But not really straight
They bow and sag
At the center, one end.
Curve in the breeze
City girls quadruple dutch
South Pacific hammock unraveled
Apron strings cut
But still long and straight
Because
They are like
Well, they like
Are
A clothesline
