Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

It sat solitary

Mad Cat Lady

It sat solitary
Polished by wind and rain
As if deep in thought
though sans brain

Sometimes a finger bone would twitch and tap
On the boulder on which it sat

As time past dirt and the dust
Accumulated within crevices
And weeds sprang up from ground
twisting and twining around

Until a semblance of form was given
Organic, green and living
And the skeleton decided it had grown as a person

And got up and walked away
