Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

It doesn't work

Michael Michaels

It doesn't work

Oh, let us seek refuge in Antigua

I don't make a mess, don't want to look like a dork

Mashed potatoes, where's the gravy baby?

It doesn't work

quaff half a pint of slurry

I then pull out the bottle's cork

The soldiers on both sides fought in a frenzied flurry

It doesn't work

I was beat with a billet by a man named Kevin.

I don't make a mess, don't want to look like a dork

the brown hat brim reveals little of the man within

It doesn't work

Tripping silently across the Plain

I then pull out the bottle's cork

Unable to win or lose or even play the game

It doesn't work

-O-matic ray gun to destroy the world!

I don't make a mess, don't want to look like a dork

oh to travel to wander oh to stagger all around the world.
