Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

In Searching

Robert Hawkins

Searching oh how I search searching.
In ever most everyday forlorn.
For it is that she will never be there.
Oh search diligent meticulously my search for her.
One planet million galactic core searching.
I'll not be left in sorrow tomorrow searching.
When I dream of her yesterday ever the morrow.
If I dream of her she just might be dreaming of me.
If dreaming together might we come true?
In thoughts where we are together today.
Shallow might make my thoughts.
But words forever ring truth.
Thoughts of her please come true.
In my searching for her.

My poetry is so bad Dorothy Parker's ashes caught fire again. Burned down DP's memorial garden at NAACP headquarters Baltimore Maryland. Dorothy would have been the first to laugh and say, "I thought they would name a drink after me not a garden."
