Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I used to be alive.

Anonymous Thomas

I used to be smart.
I used to be strong.
I used to be right, and
you used to be wrong.
I used to be brave.
I used to be safe.
Now I live in a cave.
Now I cannot even rhyme.
Now I forget.
Now I regret.
Now I get it.
I am slowly.
I am slowly forgetting.
Ah dementia has me demented.
I am slowly.
I am slowly dying.
Ah AIDS that little demon within me. That little curse brought by a nurse. That little thing that kills me.
I hate thee.
