Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Wish I Had a Horchata Dispenser

prunella jones

I wish I had a horchata dispenser
and I can tell you why.
I love that milky rice drink
it keeps my throat from feeling dry.

If I had a horchata dispenser
I would gulp it down all day.
And then make sure to brush real good
since I worry about tooth decay.

Horchata is so yummy
so creamy sweet and white.
Unlike diet Coke it's caffeine free
and it kicks butt over Sprite.

Why is Starbucks everywhere?
Their drinks smell like burnt ass.
Horchata is cheaper and a much better deal
plus the cinnamon helps prevent gas.

So, I wish I had a horchata dispenser.
Some day I will I hope.
Because the stuff they sell at the grocery store
kinda tastes like liquid soap.
