Very Bad Archive

I Wish

julia flores

I wish I had a beer stein
with little pewter cap
for keeping out the fruit flies
so I could take a nap.

I wish I had a fruit fly
I would name it Jo
put it on my shoulder
take it everywhere I go.

And when I had a beer
I'd let it take a sip
being very careful
so it didn't take a dip.
