Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Think I'm in Love with Jack Morgan

Flora Grande

Falling in love is easy,
like shaking your head yes
and climbing on that motorcycle like second nature,
and without a helmet,
on the hottest day of summer.
There is nothing else to do.
Nothing you'd rather do
but melt into this
like exhaust gas that becomes
a mirage.

Reflected in his mirror sunglasses are white teeth and
the sweat on your upper lip --
signs that say "let's ride."

I think I'm in love with
Jack Morgan.
