Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Remember When Your Name Was Diego.

Daniella Princess of Doom

I got a hat for you.
I got some other stuff.
Don't want nothin back.
Want you to smile.
And stay a while.
Wish I was punk rock or
hard knocked or
tatted up
But that ain't me.

Lit a lottery candle for you last night
in my secretary clothes
I've got a normal job
and I've got weird hairdos
I look okay, guess
I smell nice too
I'm gonna lie to you
and eventually it will be true.

Don't know why I ever met you
Don't know why I ever saw you
Don't know why I ever met you
But I'm glad I did.

You're so weird
and funny
You make strange noises
and you say dumb things
Your curly hair gets in my face
My crazy tantrums get in your way
I wish you knew, really knew
how much I do love you.

I've dug a hole in my backyard
I'm gonna stick my feeling there
Gonna put some dirt right over it
Gonna bury it, gonna bury it
Want you to know
I'm gonna let it go
Diego.
