Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Hate Frozen Donuts

Michael Reed

I am primarily hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon atoms combined.
Approximately 7 octillion atoms make up my body
(That's 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
which is 700,000 times more than the estimated number of stars in the universe.
About one billion atoms in my body were at one time part of William Shakespeare.
Many billions were at one time in a tyrannosuarus rex.
There are probably even a few million from Adolf Hitler.
Nearly all of the atoms were at one time in the center of a massive sun that died long before life arose on Earth.
The life of an atom is estimated to be at least 10 septillion years
(10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
or 1 quadrillion times greater than the age of the universe.
In other words, the atoms that make up my body will be around for a long time,
basically for eternity
or until the universe collapses in on itself in a "Big Crunch".
And knowing all that...
I still hate frozen donuts.
