I Feel Bad

My heart beats slow
Because it knows
What my life is like
The problems won’t take a hike
I feel bad deep down inside
But these are feelings I do my best to hide
I do not like who I am, I wish I was me
But being me wasn’t liked so I couldn’t be
I wanted acceptance from the world, even if it meant abusing my own heart
How stupid of me cause now I’m in so much pain I wish I could go back to start
I don’t want my finish to finish like this
Oh Dear God, please fulfill my wish
The wish that one day all the pain will be done
That one day I’ll be out of all this darkness and soaking under the Son
