Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Couldn't Make This Any Badder

Bill Cashing

Dreary, awful drearyness
Aloof, and goofy, said he
I wonder how I'll make it there
While crawling on my knees

A journey to and fro to go
Ten miles in my shoes
If only I can find a way
To make my bladder loose

"I couldn't hurt her if I tried"
I heard the owl say
Tie the knot and get it over with
Or without her you will pay

Who saw them do it?
Have you ever heard them cry?
Listen to the rain unless
You're too preoccupied
