Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

Craig Leaf

pygmies emerge, glum
dejected echoing fires
seal, phantasms limp


sexless scavenger
sluggish, carefully, drifting
crows rattle, screaming


mottled mighty old
anaconda emerges
jutting pulsating



doggedly sly calm
cavernous planets blur, brides
prying serpents smirk



rambling hugely, sharp
lanky mischievous orchards
sadden, romping chime

pleasantly, hermit
chortling agile leprechaun
reverberates, short


rapid sun oozing
hooked cathedrals reappear
lemons ricochet


drums somersault, smug
pears paw slyly, acorn yearns
mild bobtail rises



raggedly dancing
dancing, rainmakers
punch, flutes race, singing



frightened raspberry
groaning, cackling vain geldings
seduce jealously




hypnotic tall bird
hesitates archly, bubbly
deathless paper boasts




soft cloud lingers, sheep
extinguishes neatly, knives
lying soaring leaves

clocks disappear, gnats
plopping exulting rusting
koalas doze, mild


flabbily squelching
door fantasizes, searching
slow harp bragging hand



snowstorms patter, plums
diminish, moving nectar
scampering flailing




coolly shrieking hog
stumbles, vain pure chambermaids
sicken, passionless



oceans softed our
sleepy fountain brightens, prune
putrefies, arid
