Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

I Bumped Into Batman

Michael Reed

I bumped into Batman
he didn't utter hello
He seemed to be a fat man
He was inhaling Jell-o

I asked him where his cape was
he cleared his throat and spat one
I couldn't see what his shape was
But I knew it'd be a fat one

So where's your sidekick Robin?
Hey, I was only pickin'
But his head was bobbin'
inside a bucket of chicken

Superheroes shoot their net down
and you never can defeat 'em
But sometimes there's a let down
when you finally met 'em
